I have danced since I could walk, studying ballet,  expressive movement,  contact improv, modern and jazz dance.

I was a performer with Village Folk, an international folk dance group, and I am currently a dancer, choreographer, and Co-Artistic Director of the Toronto-based community dance company, PushPULL.

I am a certified Black Belt Nia Teacher, offering not only Classic Nia, but also Moving toHeal, FreeDance, and FloorPlay to adults of all ages, genders, body types, abilities and fitness levels.  I am also and instructor of Dancing With Parkinson's in Toronto and across Canada online.

I am proud and humbled to be involved in moving forward the vitally important work of Diversity and Equity, not only in my own life, but also with The Nia Technique, and PushPULL Dance

Every time I cross a new threshold

I am creating a new dance.

Every time I create dance

I am crossing a new threshold.

Every day is a dance we call life.

Here

I acknowledge with humility and respect that I am an uninvited guest/settler on the land in which I live and work and dance ~ the territory of the Anishinaabe, Mississauga and Haudenosaunee peoples. I acknowledge the current treaty holders, the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. This territory is the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to peaceably share and care for the Great Lakes region.  As we come together from different locations, I invite all of us to recognise the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit, and of all First Peoples worldwide..
